Happy Easter!!! Just a few pictures of Easter Egg-citment! 

 Not that this has anything to do with Easter but it's a cute story that I want to remember. Do you see Chase's shirt? I bought it for him over a year ago and he has refused to wear it because of the word "girlfriend".  If you can't read it, it says "Basketball is my girlfriend." Finally last night he put it on!!! He walked into my room and said "Look mom, I can wear it now because I want a girlfriend." To which I replied "Oh yeah? Who do you want to be your girlfriend?" Chase then said "Okay, well one day I want a girlfriend but don't tell dad!" LOL

Happy Easter everyone! We started our Easter celebration early this year. On Saturday we headed down to the park for the city egg hunt. There were tons of kids but it was tons of fun. Chase jumped right in, picking up a ton of candy and toys. He just forgot to get the eggs! Oh well, next year.

 Then Saturday afternoon we decorated eggs for the Easter Bunny to hide. Well, I decorated most of them. I think he just decorated two.  They turned out to be really cute. Chase said they were hideous.

Chase always makes out on Easter. The Easter Bunny always comes to his house, grandma and grandpa's house and Aunt Kelli's. I told him this morning that he is spoiled!!! He replied " Yep I know!"

2013 Easter Car Show

Ryan entered the truck into the city's annual car show this year! We didn't win but we had a blast.

Chase enjoyed just hanging out in the back of the truck all day!

We also met a few friends there. This is Kelby, one of my students in my preschool class. His dad and uncle both won trophies for first place!

Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt

We had an egg hunt and pot luck with the neighborhood kids on Friday! It was a blast!
New Easter tradition? I think so!

Easter Celebration at Kindergarten

Who's crazy enough to take 75 Kindergartners to the park for an Easter egg hunt?

Chase's school that's who.

The Kindergartners had their first field trip of the year and they walked to the park. The kids had a great time and I am positive they will all crash early tonight!

The teachers and parents had tons of fun activities set up for them when they arrived.

Egg dyeing, bubbles, relay races, kite making and tons more.

After lunch they ended the afternoon with an egg hunt! I have never seen so many eggs. I'm sure there were over 500 eggs!

It was a blast! Yay for spring!

Easter Day

We had a great Easter this year. We were in California for a funeral so we were able to spend Easter with family we hadn't seen in two years. The night before we left we dyed eggs.

The next morning before we headed out to California the Easter Bunny stopped by and left this awesome basket full of great stuff.
