Five Years!!!

Five years ago on February 19th it was raining like crazy. (I think the news was calling it Storm Watch 2005!) Meanwhile my Dad and Uncle were outside in a giant tent with a shop-vac scooping up puddles while family and friends arrived. I on the other hand sat waiting in my grandparents room expecting anytime for someone to come back and tell me it was time to get married! When someone finally did come back to let me know what was going on, they told me something I never expected!
This is what they told me " The guys say just a few more laps" WHAT!!! Yep that's right they were all out in the front room watching NASCAR. I'm never going to let Ryan forget that!
Five reasons I love my Hubby!
1. The way you stand by my side.
2. The way you make sure we have everything we need.
3. When I'm feeling the worst, you make me feel the happiest.
4. The way you always take time to play with Chase.
5. How you forgive me when I do wrong.
I love you Ryan !!!

VBF

For Valentines day Chase got a very special box in the mail from his Great Aunt Bette and Cousins Dona, Kari and Katie!!! They sent him so many wonderful gifts but his favorite was his very own Starbucks Gift Card!!!Just recently Chase learned how to order his own Vanilla Bean Frappuccino so off we went to Starbucks!!!
He thought he was so cool ordering his own drink and even paying for it by himself.
The only trouble he had was that he couldn't quite reach the counter to pick up his drink when it was finished.
He got a lift from Aunt Kelli.
Enjoying his VBF in the warm sun!

We've Been Up To Nothing

We haven't been up to much lately and I have had absolutely nothing to post. So I've decided to post some old pictures I ran across. I love old black and white photos. My Grandpa Hawkins, who I never met.
My Grandma Hawkins, who was an awesome nurse back in the day.
My Grandma Hunt. I'm not sure who she is holding could be my dad, aunt or uncle. If you know let me know.
Grandpa Hunt
Two of the most generous people I know.
There ya have it. A little trip to the past.
