Disneyland Fun Fact

We are going to Disneyland in a few weeks and as always we are very excited!  So I've decided to post a fun fact about Disneyland once or twice a week until we go. Hopefully it will make the time go by a little faster for us. Chase is already asking us "how many sleeps till Disneyland?"

If anyone wants to meet us there and spend the day with us let me know.

# 1 Haunted Mansion

 The Bride's Ring was thrown from the attic and trampled into the ground by the invisible horse. It's by the mansion exit.
I haven't seen it at Disneyland so this might only be at the Magic Kingdom in Florida.

Germ Free

We are finally germ free in our house! Unfortunately they moved next door now Grandma is sick.

It was such a nice day we decided to head to the park and get some fresh air. Chase played and was able to go back to school this week! We were just excited to get out of the house. I have a happy boy again. Thank goodness!

We got it!

We are all sick! Poor Chase got the worst of it, 102.8 fever,

cough, runny nose.You name it he had it!

He missed a whole week of school and was not very happy about that. We are slowly recovering but this is pretty much all he did the last week! Poor guy, hope everyone else is feeling better than we are !

My New Years Resolution

I don't like to bake or cook, in fact I really don't like the Kitchen much at all. So I've decided that this year my resolution is going to be using my Kitchen! Not just to microwave stuff or pass through it from the garage but actually use my oven and other items in the drawers I never open.  My motivation for this is my awesome Kitchen Aid mixer I got for Christmas. Whoo Hoo!

So far I am doing pretty good. I have already made four loaves of home made bread. I was a little nervous the first time through but I figured it was a good sign when I lifted up the tin foil and the dough was rising.

It was also a good sign that all four loaves were eaten! Not all at once of course but in a matter of a couple days. We will have to see what I want to tackle next. If anyone wants to send me some easy and creative recipes that would be great .

I guess if I dont use my Kitchen Aid mixer at least it will look awesome sitting on my counter!

Happy 2011

We had a special visitor on New Years Eve! Cousin Alyssa! We celebrated the New Year at 10:30, a little early but it's the thought that counts right? We also celebrated inside because it was only 14 degrees, brr!

Our Merry Little Christmas

We had a lovely relaxing Christmas this year. It was so nice to stay home and play with toys all day long! Chase was so excited this year. We left oats on the lawn for the reindeer

and of course left cookies and milk for Santa.

Christmas morning Chase was out of bed and half way down the hall before I even knew he was awake! I just heard him yelling "Mommy we have to check if Santa ate the cookies!" Jumping up and down all the way.

We had a very special day!

Finally

Sorry it's been so long between blog posts but we have had some bad weather here which caused a power outage and our computer was never the same after it! It actually died and it has taken this long for our new one to arrive. I am so thankful it his here, in fact I was jumping up and down I was so excited. I have a lot of catching up to do(Christmas and New Years) so hopefully that will happen in the next week or so, Yeah! For now here is our goofy boy with one of his gifts the elves left him in his stocking!
