Children's Museum

A new children's museum opened in town this month. We visited today and it was a blast. We met Chase's buddy Maverick and I think half the kids in town as well. Even though it was busy we still had fun. The museum is two stories and has about six rooms on each floor. Each room has a different theme. I can't wait to go back and check everything out a second time.



Christmas 2013

Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas. Chase always does!!! He got everything on his list. The number one item being Skylanders SWAP FORCE.  Even Scrubs got to unwrap some gifts. He loves it just as much as the kid!  After breakfast we headed over to Aunt Kelli's and I caught him peeking! He was lucky Santa had already come! We are very blessed!

 



HO HO HO Merry Christmas

Chase had his school Christmas party today. The class had a great time. They had a very special visit from you know who! We took pictures of all the kids and had to get a picture of Santa and Mrs. Crunk as well.

 

Mrs. Crunk: "Santa I'm just gonna stand next to you for the picture."

Chase yells from the back of the class:  "So you don't break him?"

Me: "CHASE!!!" shaking my head.

Chase's two best buddies Maverick and Everette.

The class made reindeer food with magic flying powder,oats,sparkles and sweet treats for the reindeer.  They also made snowmen donuts and played pass the package. The class loved pass the package. You play by wrapping a small gift ten times.  Then you pass it around to music. When the music stops the child holding it unwraps one layer. The last person to unwrap the final layer wins!

Oh what fun!

 What a great party!!! Now onto Christmas Vacation.

Spreading Cheer

Chase had a busy day today. His class walked to city hall and sang carols for the major. We live in a very small town, that never happened in California. He also had his Christmas program in the evening. The program was an International Christmas. Each class preformed a song and dance from a different country.

 

 

Snow Day

It doesn't snow very often here but when it does it is always a ton of fun!!!

 



Jimmy Is Back!

Our elf on the shelf is back this holiday season and is keeping Chase on his toes. I can't wait to see what else he has in store.

Sadie Hawkins Dance

Do all my friends out there remember Sadie Hawkins? Personally I never went to one of my high school dances but this weekend I had fun taking some pictures for some cute high school kids. They were a hoot!  Tonya Crunk, Chase's teacher this year, needed a photographer for her daughter Kaela and her friends. I'm not a photographer by any means but I sure have fun taking pictures so they asked me to do it. I think they turned out pretty good for my first time taking picture of people other than my family.

Also for those of you that look at my blog you are getting a sneak peek of our Christmas card this year. Everyone else has to wait until after Thanksgiving or when it comes in the mail.

Happy Halloween

We had a very busy but fun Halloween day. Chase had an awesome day at school with tons of fun and treats.

They even had a mad scientist stop by class to show them a few Halloween experiments.

I'm pretty sure the class liked it.

Then later on it was time to trick or treat.

 

Family Day at Ryan's Work

Today was Ryan's annual Family Fun Day for work. They rented out the pumpkin patch/farm and served breakfast for all of the employees. We had a great time.

There were also meet and greets with a few characters.

After we ate breakfast and visited with Spiderman we headed over to the corn maze. We only got lost for a few minutes.

The farm set up the story of Spookley throughout the maze that we read along the way.

We also milked a cow, road on the cow train and played on the redneck trampoline.

The farm is one of my favorite places  in town so this party was a hit! Yay for Ryan's work!

Halloween Happenings

We headed to California for three days to help my Aunt move. Most of the time was spent packing and having a garage sale but we did find a little time to stop by our favorite place. If you haven't been to Disneyland during Halloween time try to plan a trip. It is so much fun!

Two Front Teeth

My little man is growing up! He lost both front teeth.
One yesterday and then the next today at school!

Pumpkin Patch

We had a great time tonight at Sleepy Hallow Halloween Pumpkin Patch. The best thing is that it is just up the street. We could walk there.  

There are plenty of activities. Corn maze, hayride, horse back riding. This was Chase's first time riding a horse! I had to give him five bucks to try it.

Of course there was a pumpkin patch where we picked out the perfect pumpkin.

Also train rides, petting zoo and plenty of goodies to eat.

We had a great night.

Fall Soccer 2013

Soccer has officially started for the fall of 2013! Chase is thrilled, his good buddy Everett is on his team. I'm hoping they can keep it together and not goof off the whole time.

This picture cracks me up! It looks like he is giving this kid a kick in the butt! Plus the expression on both their faces are hilarious.
