Day Trip

Chase had an 18 level computer program he had to complete over the school year.  His reward was a trip to Dave & Busters in Vegas. We had a blast!

Children's Discovery Museum LV

The Children's Museum in Las Vegas was having an exhibit on Pokemon and since that is a big favorite right now we headed out for the day. Total surprise for the little boy and he loved it. 

 Ryan even won a drawing for a $10 apple iTunes gift card.

Vegas Motor Speedway

Chase went to his first race this weekend. Grandpa, Aunt Ginny, Daddy and Chase headed to the Nationwide race on Saturday. Grandpa decked him out in all the official NASCAR gear and Aunt Ginny supplied garage and pit passes! It was a hit, he loved every minute of it.

I'm not sure how it happened but he choice Tony Stewart as his driver!

Vegas w/ a 4 yr old!

We had a great time in Vegas this weekend. We met Great Aunt Ginny there and spent two nights at the Venetian. Thanks Aunt Ginny!!!  We started our mini vacation Friday night with a great dinner. Chase loved the fact that he got to drink out of a fancy cup...

...and of course with a four year old you have to take a Gondola ride. Chase called it a "Goblin ride".  Here he is waiting for our turn to ride. He was so excited, until the guy started singing to us then he wasn't so sure about the whole thing.

After our early morning Gondola ride we headed over to the mall. This was Aunt Kelli's and mommy's favorite part! 

Then Saturday evening we headed over to Mandalay Bay to see the Lion King! We all loved it, even Chase. The costumes are amazing Disney never disappoints me.

Sunday morning we headed home but not until we spent a little time at the Adventure Doom at Circus Circus. That hotel is so old! Not what I expected but Chase had fun.

On our way out of town we swung by The Pawn Stars shop for daddy! It is one of his favorite shows. We didn't go in, just stopped by to take a picture or two.

Shark Reef

We headed down to Vegas on Saturday to spend a little time with Great Aunt Ginny. We shopped, ate lunch and went to the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay. It was a blast.

Chase loved the Albino Alligator

but the Kimono Dragon was the hit of the day. He said "look Mommy, it's my favorite animal ever!"

The touch pool was fun too, but someone wouldn't touch any of the fish! I won't mention who.

We had a great day!
