California Adventure

Monday morning we were able to use the private entrance into California Adventure from the Grand Californian Hotel. We were allowed in an hour early and walked on all the rides. Soaring over California had no wait. It was awesome and made our trip very special.
Chase loves the carousels.
The only line we waited in all day was for the new Toy Story Midway Mania and that was only for ten minutes.
This is our favorite ride! Aunt Kelli got the high score for the day but it was only 11:00 am so I'm sure that didn't last to long.

Another special moment we had was on the ride Jumping Jelly Fish. Chase was given this sticker by the ride attendant and they announced his name over the speaker to everyone telling them that he was the honorary rider. He was so excited.

Bugs life is also one of our favorites.
He thought it was great when he ran into me on the bumper cars. He had the biggest grin!
The Bugs life show is one on my favorites but not Chase he only made it half way through. He stared screaming saying "mommy get me out of here" He sure looked cute in his bug glasses though.

Three Cheers For My Favorite Place!

Our first day at the parks was spent at Disneyland! Whoo Hoo, for breakfast we ate at Goofy's Kitchen. The food was good but Chase didn't want anything to do with the characters. Hopefully next time we go he won't be as shy.At least he smiled for Goofy.
One of the best things about staying at the hotels is that you have your own private entrance. Hotel guests are allowed to use the monorail to enter the park. It's great cause you miss all the people waiting in line at the front gate! We walked right on!

The driver even allowed us to sit in the very front with her as she drove. I didn't even know you could sit there.
All smiles on the Carousel.
The big question this trip was if Chase was going to be tall enough to ride the roller coasters. He was!!! Thunder Mountain was the first we decided to take him on. He loved it, the only complaint was that it was to loud.

The rest of the day he was worried that all the rides would be loud.
Aunt Kelli got him a pirate gun, he loved it and carried it around the rest of the day. He fell asleep with it in his hand while we were having dinner at the Blue Bayou. We had a great time as usual.

Mini Vacation

I've been pretty bored lately and needed to have a few days away from home so we decided to take a short trip to California. Poor daddy had to stay home because of work but Grandma and Aunt Kelli came with us on vacation. Day one of our mini vacation was spent at a couple places. First we headed down to Corona Del Mar for a quick trip to the beach! This was Chase's first trip to the beach. He loved the water but complained about the sand. He did not like it sticking to his feet!
Then we headed off to our next destination! Disneyland of course! We were so excited we got to spend two nights and three days at the Grand Californian Hotel and both parks. This was our view from our room! It was awesome.
Mickey Mouse even left Chase balloons when we arrived at the hotel and made a personal call that night to tell Chase how excited he was that he was going to visit him at Disneyland. I recorded the conversation, it was so funny Chase didn't know what to think. The video is at the bottom of the post.
Next it was off to Build a Bear and dinner at Storytellers Cafe in the hotel.
Of course he choose a dinosaur!
Dressing up his Dinosaur! It was a great first day to our vacation. Even after living in California for 30 year this was also my first time staying at the Disney Hotels. I was just as excited as Chase.

I Blame This On Aunt Kelli!

Remember this Movie?
I blame this on my sister. She let him watch the movie and he has been crazy about it ever since. I'm sure you will be able to tell which movie it is!

In case the first video wasn't enough! I like his little dance in this one! Oh and sorry he only knows one line, we are working on that.

Working Out Like Daddy

The other day Ryan was out in the garage working out on the Boflex and Chase hopped on wanting to be just like daddy. I just had to take some pictures cause I want to remember the times like this when he still wants to be like his dad.

Two Things I learned at The Biolife Luau!

The Biolife Luau was today and I found out two very important things. First Chase DOES NOT LIKE COTTON CANDY!!!He took one bite and spit it out. Good to know I don't have to waste my money buying him that stuff.
Second we found the best face painter ever! When Chase told him he wanted a T-Rex he suggested that he draw a giant one on his back. Chase was so excited he sat still almost the whole time.
It turned out so cute and Chase ran around with his shirt off the rest of the night to show it off.

Happy Mothers Day

Mommy, I love you
For all that you do.
I'll kiss you and hug you
'Cause you love me, too.
You feed me and need me
To teach you to play,
So smile 'cause I love you
On this Mother's Day.
I Love being a Mommy! Hope everyone had a great Mothers Day!

Movie Party Gone Bad

We were having a great day with Kody and Hailey Tuesday! Hailey had the day off school and they had come over to our house to play! Popcorn was made the juice boxes where ready and everyone sat down to watch a movie. The three kids where in our room watching Disney and Grace and I sat in the other room watching Twilight. (Grace hadn't seen it, she still hasn't) When all of a sudden we heard a bang and crying! NEVER GOOD!!! Poor Kody had fallen of the bed and hit his head on the side table. He ended up having to get five stitches. Next movie party everyone is sitting on the floor.
HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER SOON KODY!
