High School Locker

I found this locker at a consignment shop today. It is my new summer project. It's a bit scratched up and has a few dents in it but at least the door latch works. I plan on using it in Chase's room. I will post pictures when I am finished. I am super excited!

Last Day of Kindergarten

Today was the last day of Kindergarten! WOW! The class wore their p.j.'s and had a pancake breakfast served by the parents. I had to get the "Last Day of Kindergarten" pictures in his uniform though so I made him dress in his clothes and then change pack into his pajamas. Anything for a good picture right?

 Mrs. Johnson his teacher and Mr. Woodd the principle enjoying the pancake breakfast.

When we got home from school there was a surprise waiting at the front door.

Field Day 2013

Today was field day at Chase's school.  Basically PARTY DAY! The PTO did a great job planning all the activities. Every little face had a giant smile.

The school even had a dunk tank. Mrs. Johnson was such a great sport!

My favorite however, was the watermelon eating contest. 

The fire department also brought one of their engines to spray the kids.

Last Lunch

Tomorrow is officially the last lunch I will pack Chase for Kindergarten forever. He really has two days left but the class is having a pizza party on Wednesday and then early dismissal on Thursday. Wow, I can't believe it, he is growing up so fast. First grade is just around the corner.

Kindergarten Program

On Thursday, May 16th Chase's school had their Kindergarten program for the parents. It was really cute and the kids did a great job singing.

Being tall always means you sit in the back row.

 

Field Trips

Chase went on three field trips today. I'm not sure how his teacher pulled it off. Taking 25 kids to the grocery store, post office and McDonald's in one day isn't easy.
