Fun Times With Family

We had a great time visiting with family in California for a couple days. We even had time to squeeze in a day at Disneyland. It was a busy day but we ended up having just as much fun at the hotel and in the pool.

Our first ride was Radiator Springs Racers. We headed straight there and got on in about 20 min. By the time we got off the ride the wait was an hour. We got lucky on that one. 

Another highlight was watching the fireworks from the 3rd floor pool deck. The hotel pipes in the music from the park so instead of fighting the crowds at Disneyland we sat with about 20 people. We had a great time but we always do.

Last Day of First Grade

Today is the day. The very last day of first grade. It is unbelievable how time flies. I'm pretty sure he was just in preschool. Watch out second grade here we come. 

I had a little surprise waiting for him when he got out of school. If you can't see it the sign says, Welcome summer, time for fun. 2nd grader on board. Then right after school we headed to get his hair cut. He was very excited and choose a Mohawk.

School Swim Day

Having fun with all the first graders from school! What a great end of the year trip. 

It's always fun to go swimming.

We Appreciate Our Teachers

This week is teacher appreciation week. It is one of my favorite times of the year. I love showing Chase's teachers how much we love them.  This year the school had a theme TEACHERS ARE SUPERHEROS! YAY!!! I get to be creative. My mom drew Mrs. Crunk this comic strip with Chase and her as the main characters. It says "It' a bird, it's a plane, It's Mrs. Crunk super teacher!"  For her gift I got an iTunes gift card and wrote We (APP)reciate you! 

I also made Mrs. Crunk's classroom door. I can't wait to see all the other doors and the parents work!!!
