This Christmas we are starting a new tradition. For ten dollars you can buy a permit and go cut your own Christmas tree up in the mountains. So we loaded up the trucks with the families and off we went.
There was a little bit of snow! What fun, our son has never seen snow before,being from California and all. I'm not sure he knew what to do at first but that all changed very quickly.
Soon we couldn't keep him off his stomach, he just laid in the snow moving his arms and legs everywhere, kind of a reverse snow angel.
Then he figured out the whole snow ball thing! Everyone better watch out! You can see the fist full of snow in his hand, aimed at me I'm sure.

and poor Kernan didn't even see it coming
Oh yeah, Brian got it too!
Rachel and Noah were next. No one is safe with him around.
and we can't forget Maci! She fought back!!! Good Girl!

Yeah not so good anymore! If you look you can tell that it only has branches on one side. We had to take it though. It wouldn't be right to kill a tree and then go cut another one.
So we took our one sided tree home with us.
All three trucks loaded up with our trees! What an adventure!
