Our small town Fair is so different from the Orange County Fair. Alright maybe not all that different just a lot smaller. Here is the grand entrance. You don't even pay to get in. Just three dollars for parking. (We had to go under the arch, grandpa said if we were going to the fair we had to do it the right way.)
We were undecided this year if we were even going to go but grandma volunteered to be security for one of the displays so we went with her just because.
Here is one of the displays, I loved the look of all the jars and colors of the canned goods.
You have to pay to go see the animals which is really dumb! We see animals everyday here. Across the street we have four horses and some goats so I really don't understand why they charge? So we just took a picture of our farmer outside the barn.
After the displays and some yummy food we went on a few rides! We had a blast. This was the favorite of the day! MONSTER TRUCKS!
It was hot and dusty so on the way home we had to stop and get something cold and yummy!
