Chase's teacher had the cutest craft for the class to make today! I just had to share it with everyone. Then if you want you can make one for your Christmas tree. I just want to warn you the pictures aren't that great, I only had my cell phone with me and since I make it a habit of dropping my phones in the toilet I stick with the cheep phones that don't take great pictures.
You will need a pine cone, string, cotton, orange and black construction paper, googly eyes and glue.
Pull your cotton ball apart and cut black circles for the eyes and an orange triangle for the beak.
Then drizzle the glue over the pine cone and stuff the cotton ball between the openings of the pine cone.
Finally glue the eyes and beak on the pine cone.
We took this picture with my camera as soon as we got home, it is a much clearer picture. Chase loved it and so did I! In fact Ms. Lindsay even let me make my own so we have two.
