Well, Chase had his first t-ball game tonight. Let's just say it was entertaining. Chase ran after every ball in the field. No matter where it was, even when he was by first base and the ball was hit to third. haha :) He got the hang of it by the end!
Then it was time to bat! On his first try, OMG, he hit the ball and ran to second base skipping first. Whoops! The next time the team was up to bat, I sat him down and explained to him where first base was and told him I would go stand by first base so run to me! Well he ran to first base alright, and right to me. He just didn't run on his turn. He ran after his team mate hit the ball. But have no fear!!! By his actual turn up to bat he had it down!!! The next two times went perfectly!!!
It was a great game, he had a great time and was so proud of himself when he finally made it around the bases. Not just once but twice. We are proud of him too! Can't wait till next week.
