Friday Feb, 22 Chase's school had a star gazing night. It was so much fun! The local college brought about 15 telescopes to the school for all of the families to use. We saw a whole bunch of stars took a peek at the moon and even saw Saturn! The school also had learning stations set up in the different class rooms. Our first stop was the moon. We learned all about the the phases of the moon and were given an Oreo cookie to make our own moon.
Chase made a crescent moon!
We also created our own constellations.
and explored the solar system on the iPad!
Then we headed out to the telescopes! It was amazing, some of them were bigger than me! We had a great night, a little chilly but awesome!

I want to move so my kids can go to Chase' school. They do such cool stuff for the kids and families. Very impressive!
