I love our small town on the 4th of July. It has become a family tradition to go to the Independence day parade in the morning. Chase loves grabbing all the candy.
We tend to always have a Lemonade stand as well. This year we had some great business partners that joined in on the fun. They did quite well for themselves. Gotta save up for the Legos.
Later in the afternoon the kids needed to cool off so I filled about 100 water balloons. If you have a little extra time this was a really fun activity. At first I thought that the balloons would pop right away but they lasted at least 15 min. The kids really had to work at it to pop them.
Of course fireworks are a must. Happy 4th of July.
