Preschool Here We Come!

Well my baby is officially in Preschool. Today was his first day of school. He is going twice a week for two hours a day and he couldn't be more excited. He actually has three years before he starts Kindergarten but he is so ready just to play with other children so we decided to put him in a little early. In California the cut off day for Kinder is December 3rd but here it is September 1st so he missed it by ten days. Oh well, I'm sure he will love being the oldest in his class when that day comes and I know he will learn and have fun being able to attend preschool three years. He was all smiles this morning when I brought out the camera! This is at our home right before getting into the car to head off to school. He said "Let's go meet my boss mommy" boss being his teacher. I sure hope he remembers who is boss throughout his years in school. Here he is out front of school ready to go inside. I love the back pack, it his half the size of him! You can't tell in any of the pictures but he picked out an Optimus Prime back pack. That boy loves Transformers!!!
The parents stayed for half an hour just to go over some rules and basic first day information! Then I left him there! Oh my gosh!!! I didn't cry and neither did he! He gave me a kiss and said goodbye then walked away and started to play! I was further shocked when I picked him up and Ms. Jamie (his boss) told me he didn't cry the whole time! Way to go my little dude! You are such a big boy!
Here is the gang coming out after their first day together. Four boys can you believe it? Poor Ms. Jamie no girls to be seen. Hopefully sometime soon there will be a few girls in the class. Thank goodness for the 1:4 ratio she has now. I love that there will only be a small amount of children in the class great one on one time with the teacher.

Ms. Jamie, "the Boss!!!"

He really had a great day! When I picked him up and told him we were going to lunch with grandma, grandpa and Aunt Kel he said "I want to stay with my girl, I don't want to go to lunch. I like Ms. Jamie". I am so glad he had fun!!! Hopefully day two goes just as well.

County Fair

Our small town Fair is so different from the Orange County Fair. Alright maybe not all that different just a lot smaller. Here is the grand entrance. You don't even pay to get in. Just three dollars for parking. (We had to go under the arch, grandpa said if we were going to the fair we had to do it the right way.)We were undecided this year if we were even going to go but grandma volunteered to be security for one of the displays so we went with her just because.
Here is one of the displays, I loved the look of all the jars and colors of the canned goods.
You have to pay to go see the animals which is really dumb! We see animals everyday here. Across the street we have four horses and some goats so I really don't understand why they charge? So we just took a picture of our farmer outside the barn.

After the displays and some yummy food we went on a few rides! We had a blast. This was the favorite of the day! MONSTER TRUCKS!

It was hot and dusty so on the way home we had to stop and get something cold and yummy!
What a face.

Buster BT

Alright, I have to admit that I wasn't very excited when my husband called and told me he wanted to take our son to see an old plane! I'm not a big fan of planes in the first place, I get air sick and I'm a little scared. How in the world do those heavy air planes stay up in the air? I also thought great, its hot, I don't know these people and it was nap time so not everyone was in the best of moods. Then to top it off we hit a traffic jam on the freeway. For all my friends and family that live in California a traffic jam might not sound like a big deal but it is the first time we've had to stop in the year and a half we have lived here.As soon as we got there my mood changed. Our son was so excited!

He absolutely loved it. He pushed every button and asked what the purpose of every button was!
In the end he didn't even want to get out!
Daddy had fun too!

Ready to take off!!!
