Happy Fourth of July everyone! We had a great day! I absolutely love celebrating the 4th in a small town. They have so many activities for the community to participate in every year. To start the day, the Boy Scouts line the streets with flags which is my favorite thing about this town. The city also has a parade, softball games, bike jump competitions, free swim at the community pool, Flag retirement ceremony and an awesome firework show in the evening.
This year they also opened a splash pad at the community center! So we drove down to see how it turned out. I think Chase and Alyssa approved!
After our fun in the sun we returned home for a BBQ with the family and a few sparklers with the neighbors.
