A Day in L.A.

On Thursday we headed up to L.A. and since we don't get up there that often we decided to make a day out of it. They first stop was the La Brea Tar Pits.  Stinky, Stinky, Stinky!
We also checked out the museum.
Seeing just how hard it would be to get out of the tar. I would have been doomed. I couldn't budge that darn weight in the tar.
Our next stop and the main reason we headed up to L.A. was to see the Tim Burton exhibit at the LACMA. (Los Angeles County Museum of Art) It was amazing, they had everything from drawings when he was in high school to his most recent movie props. Unfortunately the museum wouldn't allow you to take pictures inside the building. I wish I could have shared more with you, that man has some imagination.
This was a movie prop from Edward Scissor Hands, anyone out there remember that movie?
After the exhibit we headed over to the Museum of Natural History to see some real Dinosaurs. Chase loves dinosaurs!
He was a very happy camper!!!
What a wonderful day!
